Dear Partner and Friend of this Ministry,
THE LORD TAKES WHAT YOU HAVE AND TURNS INTO WHAT YOU NEED!
There are many of God’s Children who do not have enough to take care of their needs. I want to show you how to unlock the Blessing of God for you and your family this month. I believe that there is a miracle in your house! God takes the natural and touches it with the supernatural: when He does a MIRACLE takes place!
There was a woman in the Bible who needed a miracle of provision. Her husband had died and her two sons had been bonded by the creditors. This little widow could not afford to save her sons. Her debt was destroying her home. She comes to Elisha, the man of God. She tells him that her husband, that was Elisha’s servant, is dead, and that the creditor has come to take her two sons away.
“And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house?
And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil. Then he said,
Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.
And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour
out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full.” 2 Kings 4:2-4
The key to having more than enough is learning to obey the instructions of God’s Word. Elisha’s directions were simple. What do you have in the house? Her answer contained her miracle. I have nothing BUT A POT OF OIL. The man of God focused his attention on what she had even though it was not enough for what she needed.
HERE IS THE FIRST KEY TO HAVING AN ABUNDANT SUPPLY IN YOUR LIFE!
Seek God’s Blessing for what you already have and use it for His Glory. Then Elisha gave her 3 steps that would move her from her poverty and lack into being debt free and saving her children.
EMPTY VESSELS. (That’s their condition.) Elisha gave this widow the instruction to borrow vessels from her neighbors that were empty. He told her to borrow as many as she could. I want you to notice that the focus has now shifted from the pot of oil (that is the supply that you have) to the vessels of all her friends and neighbors. There was no limit as to what she could borrow. She determined that.
MANY VESSELS. (That’s their location.) The man of God told her to go out of her house (her house did not have the vessels she needed, but it had the supply she needed.) I have taught people for years that we determine the size of our financial harvests. I want to show you in a moment how this step determined how much oil would be multiplied by God’s Supernatural Power. Here is where you don’t want to miss God by putting a limit on what you do.
VESSELS THAT ARE FULL. (That is her expectation.) When she came home and her sons brought the vessels to her, she began to pour the oil from the pot into the vessels that they had gathered. The oil kept flowing until there were no more vessels to fill. Her blessing was determined by her expectation. The oil stopped flowing due to the fact she had no more vessels.
God took her from EMPTY TO FULL!
That woman took and sold the oil, paid off all of her debt and had enough so that she and her sons could live on the rest of it.That is the blessing of more than enough for your family. That is what I feel led of the Lord to do for you this month. If you will receivethe instruction that I give you, I believe it will take you from EMPTY TO FULL.
Then I’m going to ask you to sow a significant financial seed for your family this month. It is significant because it contains theability to bring increase into your finances and guarantees you that you will have a financial harvest in your future. Whether you give $100 or $30 do the best you can. It is time to realize that we need to break the power of debt off of our families. May the Lord let HisPowerful Oil flow in our lives like never before.
