Healing in the Bible is spiritual as well as physical.

What Jesus accomplished by His death on the cross and His resurrection from the dead brought salvation for the spirit of man, and healing for our bodies. This is represented by that Holy Communion that the Apostle Paul spoke of in 1 Corinthians.

For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:

And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
1 Corinthians 11:23-25

The twins of the atonement are SALVATION FOR YOUR BODY and HEALING FOR YOUR SPIRIT.

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 1 Peter 2:24

I want you to notice that Peter speaks in the past tense concerning salvation and healing. This means that the work of redemption was finished after Christ rose from the dead and Peter wrote these words.

The next step is to get people to receive these blessings. One of the realities of redemption is that God looks at Christ's work as finished. Therefore, man has to look to Christ as the "Author and Finisher of their faith" (Hebrews 12:2)

Brother Schambach told the story of a dying woman. Her radio in the hospital room was playing his broadcast. When he quoted 1 Peter 2:24, she said to her daughter, "Look that up in the Bible." Her daughter read it out loud several times. The last time the daughter read the Scripture, the mother suddenly shouted, "I see it! I see it! I am saved, and I was healed!" She sat up in bed, pulled off the oxygen tent, and the next day went home completely well!

The reality of the resurrection is Christ finished the work of redemption on the cross and then sealed this work by His resurrection.

But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 1 Corinthians 15:20-22

I have asked the Lord for 3,000 people who will give $1,000 this year to help us with the tent crusades and television.

We are showing God's miracle power that proves Jesus is alive. The cameras are capturing these miracles and television is carrying them to the world!

Your faithful giving and prayers are making a difference! Thank you!
